Woman got revenge on commuter who parked on her drive
A woman fed up with commuters parking on her drive got the ultimate revenge by blocking one in with a tonne of gravel. Julie Geue, 48, said she’d had a problem previously with people parking there without permission. So when her driveway was due to be grovelled, she was understandably frustrated that a man parked in the drive in Crow borough, East Sussex, where she lives opposite a train station. So what she did was have the gravel dumped behind his car and left a trowel in there for him to try and dig his way out. She explained that the driver, who returned to his car after work claimed he was meant to be parking at a friend’s house, but got confused. But Julie said: “The offender in this case claims to have made a genuine error and got confused about which house he should be parking in front of. Unfortunately, after over ten years of putting up with lazy, obnoxious, rude and often threatening people doing this I no longer care if it’s a genuine mistake or not.” She also posted a note, attached to a trowel in the gravel, that said: “Happy digging, at least it’s not raining.”
