Is this the worst ghost picture ever? It was taken by coach driver Craig Cooper on the London Underground and is meant to show the phantom of Sir Winston Churchill. Yes, if you look closely you can apparently make out the former British Prime Minister. If you’re struggling we’ve drawn a circle in the image. Mr. Cooper, 23, spotted the “ghost” after going to Queensway station to get the tube back to his hotel last summer at around midnight. He said as he sat and waited for a train he began to feel a presence looming over him. Feeling scared and on edge, he stood up but then felt like “someone was stood behind him” so put his back to the wall until the tube arrived. Later on when sending a picture to his girlfriend Nicolle Lewis he noticed the figure of a bald man stood in the centre of the shot. Mr. Cooper, from Caerphilly, South Wales, said: “I was very unnerved. If I had seen that while down there I would have run straight back up the steps very quickly. Since then I have heard stories that people have seen the ghost of William Churchill down there. I know he had a bunker in a tube station nearby so it could have been him.” Churchill utilised the disused Down Street tube station as a bunker during the Second World War, which is on the other side of Hyde Park. He added: “Quite a few mediums I have shown the picture to have said the same thing. Some have said it could just be a reflection but the majority have said they think it is genuine.” Err, we probably think you should take the reflection angle more seriously.
